March Local Housing Numbers
Steaming hot off the Excel proggy on the laptop, here are the latest monthly numbers on the Washtenaw County housing market. Numbers graciously provided by the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors (AAABOR) Please note these numbers include both homes and condos.

Months of Inventory: While the months of inventory dropped from 6.2 months to 4.6 months of overall inventory, this is due to the seasonal uptick in purchases. A quick look at the new listings show a lot more hit the market in March.
Average Days on Market: Days on Market fell by two days, from 92 to 90 average number of days on market.
Number of New Listings: Increased from 1,132 in February to 1,444 in March, a nearly 28% increase. Part of this jump is due to the historic, seasonal jump seen in March, April and May for folks selling their home.
