Housing Exposed: Can You Find Your Home Online?

90% Use the Internet to Search for a Home

You’re trying to sell your home in today’s dynamic, challenging real estate market.

With so much competition and such an explosion of information available to prospective home buyers on the web, getting your home in front of the highest percentage of potential buyers must be your number one priority.

And this 90% statistic is BEFORE we’ve felt the true impact of this next generation of up-and-coming buyers on the verge of entering the market right now.

This next generation is well-versed in internet usage and search.   In fact, Generation Y is beginning to effect not just how marketing is done, but it is also changing the specifications that builders are using to build new homes.

With 90% of ALL buyers using the internet to find their next home, it pays to ensure that your home is easily discoverable.

Google Indexed Backlinks

Huh?

“Google Indexed Backlinks” is the term we use to describe how many different links Google can find for a given property.  Every link discovered by Google points back to a portion of the marketing effort we put in place for your home.

Listing syndication is a hot item these days in real estate marketing.  Many agents talk about the fact that their listings are on the internet.  But what exactly does that mean?

Below is a brief slide show comparing our marketing efforts vs. the marketing efforts of ‘top agents’ in our marketplace.

As you will see, these “top agents” are generating roughly seven-to-10 of these links for their clients’ homes.

Our marketing system?

Generates at least 500 links…

You read that right:

  • Our top competitors: seven-to-10 links.
  • Professional One: 500 or more links.

Frankly, we haven’t found the top end as of yet in terms of how many links we can generate!  We just listed a home and created nearly 700 links…in the first two weeks.

Again, you read that correctly: 700 links…in two weeks.

Is Your Home Getting the Exposure You Deserve?

So, in the end, if you see the value in creating maximum exposure for your home on the web, it is imperative that you list your home with agents who understand listing syndication…
