2015 Plymouth Ice Festival
The 2015 Plymouth Ice Festival is upon us!
Friday, January 9th through Sunday, January 11th, downtown Plymouth’s Kellogg Park will be transformed into a gallery of carved and shaved ice. Details about the event can be found at PlymouthIceFestival.com.
For the 33rd year, there will be college ice carving competitions. Individual competition will be on Saturday, January 10th, from 9a – 12 noon, with awards at 1p. Team competition is Sunday, January 11th, from 9a – 12 noon, with awards at 1pm.
Be sure to schedule out some time Friday evening and Saturday evening for the Fire and Ice Towers. Approximately 7:30p the ice towers will be lit. They burn for about two hours, so you have time to capture some images or wander around the exhibits.
Local businesses and restaurants have their own events scheduled, so be sure to check out their offerings too.
