From the BHD Executive Summary:
The value driven real estate market continues on. The convergence of price and quality is where a property sells, and this market is definitively proving just this axiom. Anecdotally, Big House Data clients have reported listing properties on a Friday and then having to field multiple offers on Monday?.and the properties are selling above list price!
Inventories across condos and homes is up, there is no question. Pfizer relocation properties have ?taken the knees? out of some areas with their aggressive, post-buyout pricing. In some cases, 10% lower than a purchase from two years ago. The effect this has on the neighborhood is depressing the property values seemingly instantly. But, Pfizer is doing a great job of selling those homes.
