Transforming a Community
On January 1st, 2013, my friend and pastor, Dan Rose, was placed into full-time ministry with the Antioch Movement, a church plant in the City of Ypsilanti.
What is the Antioch Movement, you say?
The Antioch Movement
Ypsilanti is a small urban environment. The neighborhood structure of the city proper creates densely populated people centers. The structure of our city lends itself to saturation and exponential growth.
This means that The Antioch Movement will focus on a neighborhood or two and seek to saturate them with gospel people and the gospel message. We are going to build the movement from the neighborhood that Dan and Amy live in and from the campus of Eastern Michigan University. The desire is that each person who calls The Antioch Movement their community to be saturating their spheres of influence and launching movements wherever they may be. – Saturation | The Antioch Movement
So, it’s a little different from how church is “done.” And, being a little different is not a bad thing. While the Midwest Presbytery of the EPC and Grace Chapel have backed and support this church plant, Dan and his family are looking for a little bit more support as they move forward.
So please, prayerfully consider supporting Dan and Amy, their son “The Beast, and their daughter, “Princess,” as they embark on this new phase in their life. Click the button below to learn more about The Roses, The Antioch Movement and support their new ministry.
